Ms. Jennifer Blanchard, School Counselor

My name is Jennifer Blanchard and I am the JTDS School Counselor! I have been working at JTDS since the 2020-2021 school year. I hold a Masters degree in Counseling with a specialization in school counseling. I am a New Jersey Certified School Counselor as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor. 

I grew up in New Jersey and I love living by the coast. I enjoy spending time at the beach, playing guitar, doing yoga, and traveling! 

As a school counselor, I am passionate about building resilient, self-regulated learners. At Donahue, I provide a variety of services ranging from individual counseling, lunch bunch group counseling, restorative justice based conflict resolution, crisis counseling, and anti-bullying programming. I also coordinate many school-wide initiatives and programs, such as the mentoring program, No Place for Hate, and our Barnegat CARES character education awards. I wear many other hats at Donahue as well to help provide a safe, nurturing school environment where students have the opportunity to be successful academically, socially, and emotionally!
